MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Land Trust and Mattapoisett Museum will host their Fourth Annual Great Community Picnic, featuring live entertainment, a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, and oysters, on August 1.

Entertainment will be by Haley Sabella, the Dick Derry Band, and Retro Roots. Several Mattapoisett businesses are also contributing, with The Inn on Shipyard Park making hors d’oeuvres and Copper Beach Farm providing the oysters.

The picnic will be held at Munro Preserve (next to the Town Wharf) starting at 5:30 and lasting until 8:30 p.m. Participants should purchase a table for four at $120, for six at $180, for 8 at $240 or for 10 at $300, and bring their own food, plates, utensils, and table decorations.
