Explore saltwater ecology program

Join the Elizabeth Taber Library, the Marion Natural History Museum and MOBY (My Own BackYard: an outdoor science program for students in grades three through eight) to explore the different habitats surrounding Sippican Harbor on Tuesday, June 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. Meet at the Marion Harbormaster office at Island Wharf.

Activities include: making a plant press, netting for fish and crabs, learning about the difference between freshwater plants and seaweeds.

Participants may bring their own buckets and nets and are encouraged to wear water shoes. The program is offered free to the public.
