Family crafts and soup supper

MARION – The First Congregational Church is hosting a family craft and soup-supper evening on the first Wednesday of Advent, Nov. 30.

The community is invited to join the festivities beginning with making a Jolly Frosty Snowman from donated wood fence slats. Following the fun, soup will be served along with salad and bread. Pastor Richard Woodward will conclude the evening with an Advent devotion.

There is limited space, so please call the church office to RSVP at 508-74801053 during church hours, Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 2p.m.

There is no charge for the craft or meal, but a free-will offering will be accepted. One snowman per family.

Crafting begins at 5 p.m., soup is served at 5:45 p.m. The church Community Center is located at 144 Front Street, at the back of the parking lot between Kate's and the General Store.
