MARION – The Marion Natural History Museum hosted a lecture on March 4 led by Martha “Mike” Schroeder about the different varieties of wildflowers in southeastern Massachusetts. 

Guests learned about native the flowers of the region, as well as species that were introduced into the regional ecosystem over time. 

Schroeder talked about different species using photos of wildflowers that were taken in her yard in Lakeville.
