Five year renewal for Marion fire chief
MARION — The town decided to keep a familiar face in charge of the Fire Department.
Brian Jackvony was renewed as fire chief with a five year contract by the Select Board on June 1.
His contract will take effect on July 1, and was created with the intention that it will likely run nearly to Jackvony’s retirement.
“You do a great job, thanks for everything,” Town Administrator Jay McGrail said.
The Select Board voted unanimously to approve the chief’s renewal.
