MARION — Melissa Sepulveda of Forno Bakery has moved her operations to a storefront in Wareham — but with the business’ name, she isn’t forgetting her town of residency.

Forno Marion, located at 260 Marion Rd., is now open for business.

Sepulveda said she started baking in early 2020 as a way to work through a difficult year — and she hasn’t stopped since. She started giving bread to friends, and quickly, had developed a small home business as people convinced her to begin selling some of her baked goods.

Once she was selling bread to strangers, she realized it was a full-fledged business. Eventually, she decided to expand and open a bakery.

Forno Marion is located on Route 6, at the former site of Frank’s Butcher Shop in Wareham.

Currently, the bakery will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
