ROCHESTER — Crews from Rochester and Mattapoisett Fire Departments put out an attic fire on July 12 at Friends Market in Plumb Corner in 20 minutes after an electric motor air conditioning unit caught on fire and spread to the nearby insulation.

The fire was called in at 2:29 p.m. when smoke was noticed coming out of the air ventilation system in the store.

No injuries were reported.
