Get outside with the Buzzards Bay Coalition's fall events

Oct 7, 2016

The Buzzards Bay Coalition has the following events:

Cranberry bog exploration

Nothing says fall in the Buzzards Bay region quite like the annual cranberry harvest. Take a trip to The Bogs on Saturday, Oct. 15, 10-11:30 a.m. to explore the former cranberry bog during a free morning exploration in Mattapoisett. Explore the bogs for cranberries and see what lives in the freshwater swamp at the Mattapoisett River Reserve, which has been protected forever to preserve and restore these habitats. Mindfulness walks

Enjoy the peace and beauty of nature with Jessica Webb, owner of Anchor Yoga & Meditation, and the Buzzards Bay Coalition during a mindfulness walk at East Over Reservation on Sunday, Oct. 23, 1-2 p.m. Webb will guide walkers in mindfulness meditation. This walk will be conducted at a deliberately slow pace in social silence without digital devices. All fitness levels are welcome. Wear appropriate footwear for a walk through nature.
