MARION — Join Saint Gabriel’s Episcopal Church for a blessing of the animals on Sunday, Oct. 8 from 8 to 10 a.m.

The pet blessing will be held to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Francis. Pet owners are invited to bring their dogs, cats, and other creatures into church with them. A Pet costume contest will take place at 11 a.m. during a coffee hour with prizes awarded.
