MATTAPOISETT — G.H. Dunn Insurance Agency often supports local food banks. This year, its contribution to Mercy Meals & More was met on a two-for-one basis by the Arbella Insurance Foundation, who for over 10 years has been giving and supporting local food pantries and programs. Together, the two organizations donated $900. 

Six days a week, Mercy Meals & More, located in downtown New Bedford, provides a hot breakfast, in a family-style setting, to neighbors in need.  It also provides clothing and books. Over 70,000 breakfasts have been served since 2010, when the non-profit was established.  Mercy, Meals & More relies on volunteers and monetary donations to support their good work.
