Girl Scouts horse around at East Over Farm
Marion Brownie Girl Scout Troop 67047 is expanding.
The group has grown past the the Tri-Town and into “neigh”boring communities to include girls from Acushnet, Carver, Fairhaven, Wareham, and even a virtual member from the Washington D.C. area.
But staying rooted in their Tri-Town history, the girls visited Equestrian Element at Eastover Farm in Rochester on April 10 for their first in-person activity of the new year.
There, the scouts took advantage of the nice weather and brushed, groomed, handled, led and rode the farm’s horses. They even got some surprise bunny snuggle time.
