The Mattapoisett Lions Club annual Harbor Days events are coming up.

This year will feature old favorites like strawberry shortcake night, and new traditions such as “Shopping at Shipyard,” which features moms who run businesses from home.

Proceeds from the Harbor Days events allow the Club to support sponsored charities as well as assist those in need in the community.

July 1 – Harbor Days ad books available at local businesses. For more information, check www.mattapoisettlionsclub.org.

July 9 – The triathlon begins at Town Beach, at 8:00 a.m. Sign up at www.lightboxreg.com/mattapoisett-lions-triathlon_2017

July 9 – “Shopping at Shipyard,” featuring moms who run businesses from home. It runs from 2-4 p.m. at Shipyard Park under the tent.

July 12 – Strawberry shortcake returns to Shipyard Park at 7 p.m. during the concert at the gazebo. It will also be available throughout the weekend until sold out.

July 13 – Painting with a Splash, a step-by-step painting class, will take place under the tent at 7 p.m. The cost is $35 per person. Sign up at www.paintingatsplash.com. Choose: Make a Reservation, then New Bedford and then July 13, 2017.

July 14 – The Oxford Creamery fish fry is from 5:30–7:30 p.m. under the tent.

July 15 & 16 – Vendors will have their wares available for purchase. Clothing, crafts, jewelry, toys, pottery and more. There will also be a “U-Pick-’Em” auction both days.

July 15 – Lobsterfest will be held 5:30–7:30 p.m. under the tent.

July 16 – The festivities end with a pancake breakfast from 8–11:00 a.m. under the tent. U-Pick-Em auction winners will be drawn.
