The Heritage Days Committee is seeking new members to help plan, research and host activities for the fun and historical weekend in August 2012.

An open meeting will be held Jan. 17 in the meeting room at the Mattapoisett Public Library at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteers must commit at least one year. This involves monthly meetings between January and August to plan events and access requirements.

Anyone interested in the cultural history of Mattapoisett and can commit for the 2012 season is welcome. Attendance at this meeting will determine if a program will be offered in 2012.
