ROCHESTER — On Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m., Bruce Gardzina, an organist for more than 50 years, will play holiday songs on the Rochester Historical Society’s rare Vocalion organ built in 1893.

Gardzina “is able to make beautiful music fill the church/museum” on the “eminently playable” organ, material from the Rochester Historical Society said.

Refreshment will follow the concert, and all are welcome to attend.

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, the Rochester Historical Society will have a Christmas party with music at 6:30 p.m.

At 7 p.m., Rochester Memorial School sixth grader Andrew Cody will perform holiday trumpet solids. Then Sheila and Tom Perry will lead carol singing. Cocoa and cookies will be served.

Both events are at the Rochester Historical Society at 355 County Road. Attendees are requested to bring an unwrapped toy for a child or teen.
