Holiday events with the Marion Police Brotherhood

MARION — This year, the Marion Police Brotherhood will be hosting two events to get residents ready for the holidays.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, there will be a Pizza with Santa event at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center at 465 Mill St from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Donations will be accepted to help “fill a cruiser” with new unwrapped toys for the Justice Resources Institute, a local non-profit providing intensive foster care and adoption programs for children and adolescent in the community.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, the brotherhood will host its annual Senior Citizens Holiday Dinner, also at the community center. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and dinner will be served at noon. The event is open to Marion residents, along with one guest, for free admission.
