MARION — Saint Gabriel’s Episcopal Church is starting off Holy Week in a very different way this year.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 31,   parishioner, and art historian Mary Wilson will lecture on Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" in the chapel followed by a traditional Passover Seder at 7 p.m. in the parish hall. The community is invited to attend either or both of these free events.

During the Seder all are invited to join in on the journey through Holy Week with dramatic readings, historical details and a full Seder meal.

At this inter-generational worship, experience authentic foods will be served, and all will discover how Jesus’ last days mirror the celebration of Passover and how Jesus gave new meaning to the Passover elements. Experience how Jesus and the disciples would share their Passover meal.
