The Mattapoisett Council on Aging will host Jimmy Buffet’s Parrot Head Party at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday, Aug. 29.

Starting at 12:15 p.m., lunch will be an old-fashioned cookout. Entertainer Vic Solo will lead the party, performing at 1 p.m. Bring $8 for food and entertainment. RSVP by Aug. 26.

The hall is located on Route 6.
