MARION — The Marion Fire Department, Board of Health and Council on Aging will educate residents about stroke awareness and healthy living at a walking event on Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. around the Community Center outdoor path.

Located at 465 Mill Street, the exercise event will feature discussions about stroke risk factors, signs, symptoms and how to lower the risk of stroke, in addition to light refreshments and raffle prizes.

Interested participants should call the Council on Aging at 508-748-3570 to register for the free event.
