MARION - The Marion Art Center is pleased to announce a new after school program for children from ages 10 to 15. 

Young actors will explore multiple facets of theater craft both on stage and behind the scenes.

Activities may include acting, improvisation, costume creation, stage management, tech and movement.

The class is led by Garrett Olson, who joined the Marion Art Center in 2025 as the ArtStart Music and Movement teacher. 

The class runs on Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for six weeks from Oct. 20 through Nov. 24.

Classes take place at the Marion Art Center, located at 80 Pleasant Street. 

The cost for the program is $195 for members and $225 for nonmembers.
