After notching back-to-back wins the Old Rochester Regional High School girls basketball team hoped for another against New Bedford High School, but fell short in a 33-23 loss Sunday night.

Strong defense from ORR kept the game close until the fourth quarter; however, New Bedford thwarted the Lady Bulldog’s offense.

Lead scorers for the Bulldogs were Morgan Browning, 8 points, Ashley Pacheco 7 points and Sophia Church, 4 points.

The team’s record is now 2-7. The Bulldog’s next game is Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Bourne.
