MATTAPOISETT — Learn about coastal ecosystems at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.

Explore the fascinating world of salt marshes during “Who Lives in a Salt Marsh?” presented by the New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance.

The Friday, July 12 presentation at 2:30 p.m. will explore the environment of salt marshes and introduce attendees to residents of salt marshes and the challenges they face.

New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance will create an immersive experience with turtle shells, turtle egg shards and field research equipment. There will also be arts and crafts.

The presentation begins at the library and may continue to the Mattapoisett bike path.

No registration is required, and the presentation is recommended for all ages.
