Learn valuable skills with the Basic Babysitting class

MATTAPOISETT — Instead of learning babysitting skills by trial and error, now there’s a babysitting course for tri-town pre-teens interested in babysitting for younger children.
Children must be 11 or older to attend the course, which will be held at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church on Jan. 25 from 6:45 to 9 p.m. A snack will be provided to course participants.
The course will cover basic first aid, door and telephone protocol, bedtime, mealtime and discipline procedures, contracts and ethics, and how to prevent accidents.
