Mattapoisett Recreation is partnering with Bristol Community College’s Kids College LEGO Program to bring LEGO engineering classes to the tri-town.

Courses will be on Thursdays at Center School. Classes for 8 to 10 year olds are from 4 to 6 p.m. Ages 11 to 13 years are from 6 to 8 p.m.

Students will build and work with LEGO models to investigate pulleys, gears and belt drives. This course encourages hands on learning, promotes team building and allows creativity in construction in a fun environment.

The cost is $90 for six two-hour sessions that begin Jan. 7. Space is limited. Register online at www.mattrec.net.
