Library, land trust put on Rochester scavenger hunt, story walk

Apr 12, 2021

ROCHESTER — Stroll through a “Trail Tale” with the Rochester Land Trust and Plumb Library.

The story walk at the George and Catherine Church Wildlife Conservation Area will take visitors on a half mile walk through the woods, following the story of “The Gruffalo” by Julia Donaldson, a children’s book about a mouse and his friend.

The Plumb Library will also be offering a scavenger hunt related to the walk, which will be available from April 15 to May 6.

The first 20 families to complete both the story walk and scavenger hunt will receive a prize from the library.

Additionally, the library no longer requires an appointment to browse for books. However, appointments are still required for computer use.

Contact the library at 508-763-8600 with any questions.
