WAREHAM - Marie Louise Quinn, 70, passed away on April 20, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, surrounded by her beloved family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Robert) Goulet.

Marie was better known to her friends and family as Louise.  She was born in Acushnet and lived in Wareham for many years. Louise worked at her family's business, Harding Sails, for many years. If you happen to see a cockpit cover or marine canvas with the Harding Sails logo, you can be sure Louise had a hand in building it. She took great pride in her sewing skills.

Louise was a member of the Wareham/New Bedford Lodge of Elks, the Beverly Yacht Club, and the Church of the Good Shepherd. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing pool, boating, clamming, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. And she also always appreciated a good joke.

Louise was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, she was there for her family through each and every struggle and each and every achievement. Louise was loved by all and everyone who knew her would say her smile and energy lit up the room. Louise will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children; Ian N. Quinn and Christine M. Quinn; her brother Raymond Goulet of New Bedford, and her sister Pauline Russel of WI; 4 grandchildren, Cameron Joseph Quinn, Preston Anthony Quinn, Anthony Joseph Morrissette, and Grayson Harry Quinn.

Visiting hours are from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
