Marion Afterschool group enjoys autumn beauty

MARION — The Marion Natural History Museum after school group enjoyed a woodland walk to collect various items from nature. The group collected pine cones, smelled Sassafras trees, and had a great time collecting multicolored fallen leaves.
The students then went back to the museum to construct plant presses and design colorful specimens. The group will be bringing their completed works back in a few weeks to have them laminated.
