MARION — The next exhibition of the Marion Art Center will open with a reception on May 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. and be on exhibit through July 6. The exhibit will feature works by Janet Gendreau and Peter Hussey.

Gendreau is a pastel artist who often depicts light and weather conditions on the marshes and coast. Hussey is drawn to architectural embellishments, and depicts light, shadows, and the spatial relationships between archways and windows in his photorealistic watercolors and egg-tempered watercolors.
