The Marion boys' basketball travel team took home the gold during the Muscato Tournmanet in North Easton from December 29 to December 31.

The group beat out teams from Mansfield, Easton and Sandwich to win the eighth grade pool during the holiday vacation week. Dec 29 - 31, 2011.

Approximately 100 boys' and girls' teams took part in the tournament, with three to five towns lumped into pools.

The Marion team consists of: Jacob Fluegl, Jarod Nye, Evan Santos, Thomas Winters, Sean Hopkins, Jeremiah Adams, Corey Dias, Evan Portalance, Jacob Chavier, Will Santos.

The coaches are Steve Nye and John Santos.
