MARION — From blow-up games to cornhole and a rock climbing wall, there was no shortage of activities at the Marion Town Party on Aug. 28.
Residents gathered at Silvershell Beach — some on the beach and others in the activity-filled park — to celebrate the summer.
In addition to games, there were booths representing the Boy Scouts and other local organizations and food and drinks a plenty.
As their parents ate and drank, most kids raced to the top of the rock climbing wall. But some decided to take a more leisurely approach
“I like taking my time,” Peyton Tracey said after coming back down from the wall.
