MARION — The Marion Concert Band is continuing its Friday evening concert series with a Young People’s Concert on Friday, July 11. The concert will include an opportunity for kids in the audience to play rhythm instruments with the band.

Pieces featured in the concert will include songs from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” Disney songs, “Shrek Dance Party” and “Pixar Movie Magic,” among others.

The program will begin at 7 a.m. at the Robert Broomhead Bandstand, Island Wharf, which is off of Front Street in Marion.
