The Marion Council on Aging will offer a new program to help people ages 50 and over find a new job.

The Job Seekers program begins Oct. 5 and will meet the first Thursday of every month from 1-3 p.m. at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center.

Meetings are open to everyone, regardless of residents, and will be facilitated by a career coach. The meetings will act as a professional forum for networking with peers and developing skills and strategies to help with career transition.
