Marion Cub Pack 32 will host a recruiting event Saturday Aug. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Washburn Park on Front Street. Boys entering kindergarten to fifth grade who are interested in seeing what Cub Scouts is all about can come meet the pack, build their own boat to race in a rain gutter regatta, play kickball and other games.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.
