Marion Fire Department responds to Tabor ammonia leak

MARION — The Marion Fire Department alongside Department of Fire Services Hazardous Materials Response Team responded to an ammonia leak at Tabor Academy on Sept. 27.
The department cooperated with Tabor, and the leak was kept to a limited scope with “minimal impact on normal operations,” according to a department Facebook post.
The Mattapoisett Fire Department provided coverage for Marion during the incident.
