Marion’s annual Memorial Day parade and observances are scheduled for Monday, May 30, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Music Hall on Front Street.

The observances will start with the National Anthem and the raising of the colors. After a brief service, the parade will proceed south on Front Street to Main Street, then to Spring Street and the Town House for a service and speakers.

The parade will then continue north on Spring Street to Old Landing Cemetery for a service at the grave of Benjamin D. Cushing. After a short service, the parade will continue to Route 6 and go east to Ryders Land, back to Front street and to Veterans Memorial Park for another service.
