Marion Natural History Museum receives dollhouse donation

Nov 7, 2018

MARION — The Marion Natural History Museum will now offer visitors the chance to play with a dollhouse as part of its offerings. Talented artist and wood carver James Babbit, Sr. made a wonderful doll house for his adult sister, Cynthia Babbit Bryden. Karilon Babbit Grainger inherited it from her aunt, and has now donated the doll house to the Marion Natural History Museum for all to enjoy.

The miniature house has working lights, small-scale furniture, and many other minute details that invite further study. The museum hopes that the dollhouse will invite adults and children alike in for imaginative play at the museum.
