Marion Planning Board seeks public input on Master Plan
Sep 17, 2014
The Planning Board has encouraged anyone who wants a say in the town’s future to attend an upcoming Master Plan workshop.
“If you’re interested in the direction that the town is going in ten years and beyond, you should really attend,” Planning Board member Norm Hills said.
He updated Selectmen on Tuesday night about progress made on the Master Plan.
Hosted by the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District, the workshop is set for Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Music Hall.
Workshops on land use, economic development, housing and other areas will be held.
Hills explained that the Master Plan must be updated every 10 years. A subcommittee of the Planning Board has done some preliminary work, he said.
