Everybody deserves their 15 minutes of fame and Raven York got her chance while spending time on Martha's Vineyard this summer.

Photographers from the Vineyard-based Black Dog catalog came to the Black Dog Wharf where York was hanging out with her dog Jack.

They asked York to pose on the spot.

"I decided sure, why not," said York. "They just had me put on a sweatshirt and that was that."

Since the photographer was taking a lot of pictures, she wasn't sure they'd make it in.

"I hoped we'd get in the catalog, but I wasn't banking on it," said York.

But when the catalog came out, York found that she and Jack were indeed the cover models for the fall catalog.

"We got our 15 minutes of fame," she said.
