Marion Senior Center nears fundraising goal

MARION — The Marion Council on Aging is only $5,000 away from its goal of raising $75,000 to install new floor-to-ceiling walls between offices in the Council on Aging and Recreation Departments.
The walls would provide privacy for seniors or recreation department participants who wish to discuss sensitive matters with staff for either agency.
The Friends of the Marion Council on Aging will hold their annual meeting on Sept. 30 at 5 p.m for any who would like to attend. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
To help the COA and its Friends meet their fundraising goals, mail contributions to FMCOA, P.O. Box 937, Marion, MA 02738. The check memo area should contain the word “walls” to properly assign the donation.
