Mattapoisett real estate agent and outgoing Southeastern Massachusetts Association of Realtors President Marc Leblanc passed the gavel to his Jack Conway colleague, incoming President Karen Almeida, at the recent Installation of 2015 Officers and Directors event.

Leblanc was succeeded to the top post by Almeida, manager of Conway’s Mattapoisett sales office, at the annual meeting and swearing-in ceremony, held at the Waypoint Conference Center in New Bedford.

Conway CEO Carol Bulman was “thrilled” to see another Conway colleague take the reins of the association.

“I was so happy to see Karen installed as president of our organization,” said Bulman, who has now seen seven Conway team members serve as president of the association. “She will carry on a long tradition of leadership by members of the Jack Conway Company. Under her guidance, I know the organization will thrive in 2015.”

Six other Conway associates were honored during the annual meeting for their longtime service to the association — Lauren Cardin, manager of Conway on the Bay, Tammy Louro, Ana Lourenco, Mark Robson, and Glenn Rapoza of Conway-Dartmouth, and Jean McNamara and Patricia Waldron of Conway-Mattapoisett.
