Mattapoisett firefighters responded to a brush fire on Thursday, May 18.
MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Long Plain Road on Thursday, May 18.
Chief 1, Engie 1 and Engine 2 responded to the fire around 4 p.m., according to a Facebook post by the Mattapoisett Fire Department.
Crews were able to knock down the fire before it was able to extend further into the woods, according to the post.
