Mattapoisett Library's fundraiser 'Friends' Calling All Artists' fundraiser is going strong! Over 100 blank canvases have already been claimed by artists - but more are still waiting to be decorated. Some canvases are already on view upstairs in the library's lobby.

The library has scheduled an "Artist's Reception" for Tuesday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m. During the reception, the finished artwork will be available for purchase, at a cost of $25. The proceeds will go to the Friends of the Mattapoisett Library.

Completed artwork should be returned to the library during the week of May 2, so that it can be exhibited for the reception. Work will remain on display and available for purchase until the end of July.

Canvases are still available to sign out at the library's circulation desk, and there is no cost to participate. Art can be in any medium.
