A Mattapoisett man was arrested on cocaine charges on Friday.

Mattapoisett Police arrested Jason Pina, 38, of 91 Fairhaven Road after officers witnessed Pina engage in drug transactions from his car, according to police reports.

Police also searched Pina’s house and recovered six grams of cocaine packaged for resale, drug paraphernalia, scales, packaging material and cutting agents. Officers also seized money and a GMC truck, according to police reports.

Pina was charged with possession of a Class B controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of a Class E substance.
