MATTAPOISETT — The town’s annual cat and dog rabies clinic will be held Sunday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Fire Station, according to an announcement read at the Board of Selectmen meeting on March 24.

Shots cost $15 per animal. All animals must be properly restrained, with dogs leashed and cats in carriers.

Licensing will be available for Mattapoisett residents only, though all are welcome to attend.

The event is sponsored by the Mattapoisett Veterinary Hospital, Mattapoisett Fire Station, the Natural Resource Department and the Board of Health.
