MATTAPOISETT — All town recreation programs are suspended until school begins, as they use school facilities and follow what schools do as far as cancellations and closures.

Director Greta Fox said the organization will either extend its Spring programming to make up for missed sessions, or shorten some of the programs if makeups are not possible. 

She also said the summer camp program, Seahorse Explorers may be impacted by a later start date, as it had planned to start on June 22 but school may be extended to the 24.

Once school resumes MattRec will notify all program participants of make up dates and start of camp programming.
