MATTAPOISETT — Due to the recent spike of covid cases in the area, Town Hall will be open by appointment only to the public starting on Nov. 9.

The town currently is in the yellow on the state’s map of covid data, which means Mattapoisett has five to seven per 100,000 people. For communities with populations lower than 100,000, cases are scaled relative to the size of the community.
