MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Free Public Library will host a meet and greet with an artist currently on exhibit at the library.

In conjunction with “Back Roads, Wild and Imagined Places,” South Dartmouth artist JP Powel will be at the library Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 4:30 p.m. to speak about his work.

He will bring his sketchbooks, which contain pen and ink drawings, for view.

“Back Roads, Wild and Imagined Places” will be on display until Sept. 29.
