MATTAPOISETT — The Old Rochester Regional School District announced a new covid case at Center School on Dec. 27.

Contact tracing for the cases is ongoing. Close contacts will be notified by their respective Boards of Health and are expected to quarantine. 

The positive individual was last in the school building on Dec. 22. No further information is known about the individual. 

All schools will continue operating as normal following the case. 

This is the 68th case in the district since its Sept. reopening.
