MATTAPOISETT — The ORR Bulldog Pride Alumni Association has announced the schedule for 2024’s alumni weekend.

The program from Friday, Oct. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 27 is organized around the annual homecoming game and is open to all Old Rochester Regional Junior High School and High School alumni and friends.

The weekend is “an inclusive experience that hopes to bring together the common alumni experience spanning seven decades from the Class of ’64 to the Class of ’24,” an announcement said.

The schedule begins Friday, Oct. 25 with the homecoming football game kicking off at 6:30 p.m. There will be a dedicated alumni area behind the end zone.

After halftime, there will be a “Friday Night Lights” social event in which alumni will gather at a local watering hole. The location is to be announced.

On Saturday, Oct. 26 is the “BPAA Annual Alumni Homecoming Celebration” at 7 p.m. Brew Fish in Marion.

On Sunday, Oct. 27, there will be a brunch at 11 a.m. at Brew Fish in Marion. Then, a quarterly executive committee meeting will be held at 1 p.m. All alumni can attend free of charge.

All former students and Old Rochester alumni are invited to register as founding members of the Bulldog Pride Alumni Association. Register at tinyurl.com/BPAAMembershipForm.

Membership is free, and through fundraising, the association awards scholarships, and a grant program will be kicking later this year, according to a press release.

Last year, the association surpassed a fundraising goal of $3,500, and it aims to raise $4,000 during alumni weekend.
