Old Rochester Regional sports round up May 2 to 7
The Old Rochester Regional High School girls varsity tennis team remain on their undefeated winning streak.
The Bulldogs saw back-to-back wins this week. On May 2 the girls defeated Apponequet High School with a final score of 3-2.
Their next win came on May 7 when the girls defeated Case High School in a 5-0 victory. The team’s overall regular season record stands strong at 11-0-0.
The boys varsity baseball team saw both wins and losses this week. On May 4 the Bulldogs defeated Seekonk High School in a close 5-4 victory.
The boys were unable to see back-to-back wins after falling to Dighton-Rehoboth High School on May 7. The game ended with a score of 4-0.
The boys will next face off with Fairhaven High School on May 9. Their overall regular season record stands at 6-8-0.
The girls varsity softball team claimed victory over Seekonk High School on May 4 with a final score of 13-0.
The Bulldogs next fell to Dighton-Rehoboth on May 7 with a score of 8-1. The girls season record stands at 2-10-0.
The boys varsity tennis team struggled at the start of the week, falling 3-2 to Dighton-Rehoboth on May 4. They bounced back on May 7 with a 5-0 victory over Case. The boys’ regular season record stands at 7-5-0.
The boys varsity lacrosse team also claimed victory this week. The boys defeated Coyle High School 8-5 on May 5. The Bulldogs regular season record stands strong at 7-3-0.
The girls varsity tennis team echoed the boys’ win on May 5. They defeated Coyle with a final score of 10-9. The girls’ regular season record stands at 3-9-0.
