To the editor, 

We want to thank all members of the Marion Fire Department and the other towns that responded to our recent garage fire.

The 4 a.m. fully embalmed building was knocked down quickly, protecting neighboring properties.

Chief Brian Jackvony and Building Inspector Scott Shippey were most attentive to our needs at such a very stressful time.
